VamosFans
VamosFans launched in November 2023 with one goal: a kind of ESPN powered entirely by AI, focused on social-media and web news about football clubs across Central America, backed by AI-generated content. It ran until July 2025.
The platform.
VamosFans in production — the AI-native football media platform.
The whole system was designed to be fully automated. A RAG pipeline and custom algorithms automated topic creation, and LLMs handled both blog and image generation. For the beta we covered two countries — Costa Rica and Mexico — across twelve clubs.
The project gave us a front-row seat to the evolution of generative AI and the business opportunity around AI-driven content. It was shut down after July 2025 when funding ran out and the company refocused on other generative-AI initiatives.
A newsroom with no newsroom.
- 01
Ingest
Social content and web news for every covered club, collected continuously.
- 02
Cluster
Custom algorithms group posts and stories into the day's topics, per club.
- 03
Generate
LLMs write the blogs and generate the imagery — the RAG pipeline grounds them in the day's content.
- 04
Assemble
Each club's newsletter comes together: real social content, a news summary, club statistics.
- 05
Publish
One newsletter per club, every day — twelve clubs across two countries, fully automated.
A fully automated newsroom.
Daily newsletters
The most distinctive product — one per club, every day: real social content, a web-and-social news summary, and club statistics.
Automated blogs
Auto-generated sports blogs covering Liga MX and Liga Promérica news.
Topic clusters
Each topic clustered its related social posts and blogs together for the reader.
Video generation
A late-2025 micro-project that automated the video-generation workflow with n8n.
Shut down after July 2025 when funding ran out and we refocused on other generative-AI work. We present it honestly — a finished chapter that taught us how AI-driven content scales.
Let’s build something that works.
